“I have found yoga to be beneficial on several fronts. With the deep breathing of yoga I get an aerobic workout that burns calories. With the poses I develop flexibility, core strength, and muscle tone. I am amazed at the results. I do less weight lifting than I have ever done, and yet I maintain firm muscle tone. Yoga is also great for relieving lower back pain. I formerly suffered with sciatic pain, especially when driving. Since I have been doing yoga regularly, that pain has vanished.
